Children can enjoy a freshly cooked meal every day which is prepared on site by our team of experienced catering staff. Our menu offers a variety of options to choice from and rolls over on a three weekly basis.
Under the Government’s Universal Free School Meals initiative, all children from Reception to Year 2 can enjoy a free school meal every day. Children in Years 3-6 can opt to have the school meal at a cost of £2.65 per day or bring in a packed lunch from home.
Our new Spring / Summer menu introduces a Tex-Mex dishes, a new pasta station menu and some firm favourites that have been popular on our themed menu days. This will be in place from Monday 15th April 2024.
We also have themed menus scheduled throughout the year.

Yes there is such a thing! A saving of up to £13.25 per child per week…..that is around £500 per child per year.
If your child is in Year 3, 4, 5 or 6, and you are in receipt of benefits, your child could be entitled to free school meals. It is quick and easy to apply, either call 0300 123 4048 or Hertfordshire’s website.
If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or 2, school meals are free for all children and funded by the Governments Universal Free School Meals Grant. Even though the meals are free, we would encourage any family in receipt of benefits to apply for free school meals. This will enable the school to access additional funding for your child e.g. pupil premium. To apply simply follow the instructions above.
Census Day
Schools funding from the government for school meals is dependent on the number of meals ordered on this day, so we are very keen for the maximum number of orders! We ask you to support our school by participating in a special menu.
