  • May Half Term
    We finish school tonight (Friday 28th May) at normal time and return to school on Monday 7th June for both staff and pupils. We hope you have a lovely relaxing break and the sun finally shines. Happy Half Term!!!
  • Class Photos
    The school photographer will be in school on Thursday 6th May 2021 to take class group photographs, hopefully if the weather is nice these can be taken outside. If your child is due to have PE that day, please send them in school uniform and the will do a different PE based activity. If your child attends after school sports club, football, karate or dance, then please come to school in uniform and send PE kit in bag to change at end of the day.
  • Bank Holiday Monday
    Just a reminder that Monday 3rd May 2021 is Bank Holiday Monday so the school will be closed to staff and pupils. We look forward to seeing everyone back in school on Tuesday 4th May.

  • Happy Easter Break
    We did it, we made it to the end of the term! The demands of this term have been like no other. We have never had a three-week term before, and it feels like a full term has taken place. Pupils and teachers have worked so hard since our return and are all ready for the Easter break. It has been absolutely amazing to have our children back.   • Reporting Positive Cases of Covid-19 During the Easter Break
    If your child tests positive for corona virus (COVID-19) at any point during the Easter break, please notify Aspire Academies Trust as soon as possible, so they can complete the relevant track and trace process with Public Health England and notify any other children or staff who have been in close contact and who may need to self-isolate.  During the holidays, please contact covidcases@aspireacademies.org.uk.   • Friday 26th March 2021
    Reminder school closes to pupils after lunchtime. All finishing times have been emailed to parents, please refer back to this for times for each class.
  • Return to School
    We are excited to have our children returning to school on Monday 8th February. Communication has been sent out via email with start and finish times of classes, expectations and outlining our safety measures. Please ensure you have read this communication. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday
  • Return on 8th March
    It is great news to know that all our children will be returning to school on Monday 8th March as set out by the Prime Minister. We are still working on our return to school plan and this will be sent out via email next week once we have checked it thoroughly to ensure we have everything in place to keep all our children, parents and staff safe.   • School Closure
    As you are aware, there has been much speculation in the news relating to possible school closures and delaying the start of term for pupils. You may also be aware that unions have advised teachers to exercise their right to work remotely via a Section 44 letter on the grounds of health and safety at work. The Government have put Headteachers in a very difficult situation.     Dear Parents | Carers, Happy half-term! We did it, we made it through another busy term. Today, I announced the Principal’s Brilliance Award Winners. It was a special one this time because our lovely pupils have had to show great resilience and determination. Our pupils have excellent learning habits and have adapted to school life very well.     What a lovely week it has been! At Broadfield, we have been playing Christmas music and showing off our festive socks. Our wonderful Year 1 pupils are also back to school after their period of self-isolation. The highlight of our week has been Christmas Dinner Day on Thursday. Our Kitchen Team and Lunchtime Supervisors worked so hard to ensure we all enjoyed our special lunch. We tucked into a festive feast and enjoyed the Christmas buzz. We maintained social distancing and still managed to have some fun. We all wore our Christmas jumpers as it was Christmas Jumper Day too. ...
