Dear Children, Parents / Carers,

I cannot believe how quickly this half-term has gone! It has been a fantastic start to the new year and I am so proud of all our children and staff, who have worked so hard to improve standards at our wonderful school. Systems and processes are now embedded and teaching and learning is our focus! We are making great strides and our children are the centre of our focus. This week, our Harvest Festival was the highlight of the week. Mary, from Dens came into school and delivered an assembly to raise awareness of food banks and giving to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. She really hone in on the impact of your donations and how they will be used. Thank you so much for all your support and donating to this worthy cause

. Aspire Academies Trust News: This week, Aspire Academies Trust have been working with schools across the Trust to monitor the effectiveness of Reading.

West Herts Teaching School: The Teaching School have worked with NQTs this week and supported their continuation of teaching and learning. Lot of positive feedback and useful tips for our newer teachers.
